Creating Conscious Leadership
This new virtual program is designed to help bring greater awareness and understanding around the topic of “unconscious bias”. The need to embrace the creation of a culture of belonging and inclusion is paramount. While it shows how creating a mind-set of racial judgment and divide can happen daily without knowing, it can also set a path for what can be done about it. This program is being tailored for the Canadian policing services, drawing from over 30 years of experience on the topics of social justice, inclusion and change by Howard Ross, a world-renowned author, facilitator, keynote speaker and certified executive coach.
How to give management the goods in only a few minutes
This workshop provides tools and checklists that will help you to prepare for a succinct briefing that is to the point, on target and achieves your objective. You will learn about your audience, and about how their information needs are often quite different than what you may want to tell them. The structure of the briefings will be centered around addressing three questions: What? So what? and Now what?
In this workshop, you will engage with both men and women to explore the gender-specific strengths and challenges in the workplace in an interactive, experiential and fun way and learn more about yourself in the process.
Expressing yourself with conviction
You need to communicate assertively and confidently to be successful in the workplace. This two day workshop will improve your ability to communicate with others at all levels of the organization. You will learn how to express your ideas, opinions, and feelings with conviction.
What you need to know to sell your ideas and work within a hierarchy
You have completed your policy analysis, a project plan, a draft contribution agreement or maybe you just need to get agreement on your vacation plan. Now you need to communicate this: maybe you actually need to sell it, a term that public servants hate to use. You will learn how to adjust your message according to your audience, the rudiments of an effective presentation, how to be assertive, and how to take feedback.
Making your ideas stick
Great presenters need to show that they have something important to say by applying good communications skills and showing confidence. You will learn how to communicate the importance of your message by keeping to a few key points, and then using a dynamic presentation with appropriate body language, eye contact, and dress, to make your ideas stick with your audience.
How to manage yourself and influence others
This workshop will improve your ability to manage your emotions and be perceptive of others', by addressing both intrapersonal and interpersonal skills. You will learn how to deal with change and build relationships to help you grow as both a team player and as a leader. This two-day workshop will provide you with practical skills on how to express yourself with clarity, conviction, and confidence.
Strategies for win-win solutions
In this practical and interactive two-day workshop you will learn communication techniques that will help you to negotiate with confidence and manage conflict. Whether you are involved in a conflict situation, intervening between two parties or need to negotiate for yourself, there are specific skills that you can employ to make the process easier, less stressful, and more successful.
